The Sammy Strut

What happens when Kaleeko becomes devious:

Consider it a late B-day present, PiB. ;) Enjoy!

... Back to our usual storyline. >.>

Now, who is Sammy, might you ask?!

Why, Sammy is the star of PiB's "Hi Mum, It's Sammy" blog, which features short stories about various incarnations and adventures of our boy Sam here. He is also available for download at this schnazzy link here! (Cough Nicarra60 is PiB cough.)

Also, certain liberties have  been taken to make Sammy look more... seductive. He's not actually a Flirty sim, but for all intents and purposes, he just had a REALLY awesome encounter (*cough*WooHoo*cough*) and is... um... strutting his stuff.

We love you, Sam. :D

:) I can see why the big squee. Sammy is worth a squee when he's nearly dancing for you.

Did you can a trait or two? He doesn't normally do the "You're hot" gesture.

I knew Big Time was the song for this Sammy.

I hope you liked it! :D The song totally suits him, definitely. As soon as I heard it, I was like, "I MUST MAKE A VIDEO OH MY GAWSH."

The animations are actually done via Twallan's Debug Enabler. If you have the mod, you just click on the Sim: 'Nraas -> DebugEnabler -> Options -> More... -> Animation', and there's several menus that have various different animations. It's basically exactly the same as Chaos Mod Painting, except it actually works right now. XD

I was tempted to give him club dancing and get some of his hip thrusts, but... Hehehehe. That'd just be mean.

I knew he'd be a movie star someday!! :D

Cool I must get debug enabler soonish.

I'm glad the music inspired you. That was a very fast video creation.

I do want Sam to spend a lot of time dancing, I want to see those moves!

Sammy's definitly one of the few male sims I can think of that would pull it off pretty well. I've seen some Sims table-dancing that just made me wanna... AaaaAaaaggh!

Debug Enabler is awesome. It has all sorts of widgets and thingamadoobobs. Too many, really, because I honestly don't have all of them figured out yet. Very useful, though!

The video actually would've been done quicker, but it took me about a half hour to actually boot up my game because I can't figure out which Mod is causing issues. :( I probably shouldn'tve patched my game until Twallan had updates on all his mods. Oh well.

Sam can pull off a lot of things that you wouldn't want to see just any Sim to do.

Several of Twallan's things have a ton of options. Look at how many menus MasterController has now.

You know, I should have asked for a link from the post back to Sammy's blog, your audience is getting bigger.

True that. And yet, every time he adds something, I wonder how I lived without...

Also -- done and done. Links to both your blog and his download in your Studio. I'll be sure to include both if I decide to post this elsewhere. Which I probably will. Because Sexy Struttin' Sammy must be shared with the woooooooorrrld!

... And, I think it's bedtime for me. ;)

Aww, thank you - I love the brief Sammy bio, that is awesome.

Sometimes I find it hard to believe how very well Sam actually turned out. He has character and yet is willing to endure my whims. :)

My Sim, the music I suggested and your skills at putting together a machinima - just made an excellent presentation.

Nighty night.

lol, that was awesome!!!

I had no clue about the debugEnabler. Dang. Probably should have used that.

Thanks, cheezy!

I didn't realize DebugEnabler had the same stuff as ChaosModPainting until after Late Night came out -- it's missing some things, like you can't tell a Sim where to look (as far as I can tell), but there's actually a few animations in the Debug mod that were missing in Chaos Mod.

It's got all sorts of neat tricks on it though. You can make things hover above the ground, you can make any sim play any trait idle, regular idle, and a suitable chunk of social animations -- you can also make objects invisible, fix/break any object, yada yada. Basically it's just a mod that unlocks all the hidden interactions in the game.

The only thing I don't like about it is that sorting through all the menus can be a bit tedious, and the labels on some things aren't very straightforward -- but that's not Twallan's fault, that's obviously just how they're sorted/labeled behind the scenes.

I just referenced this page from the Sammy page with his other videos. Sammy is a video star now! :)

I can only think of one word for that. Awesome!

Thanks guys! ^^ Hope it made you giggle.

Well I'm taking off in the morning, and unfortunately don't have time to read any new posts before I go (I see 2! Ack!), but I do have one post scheduled to go up sometime tomorrow evening -- I'll read your comments and blogs when I get back.

Have a good weekend, guys! <3

I like how you take the angle, Kaleeko! And the cars behind him. I wish I could make something like this.

Unknown December 6, 2010 at 2:26 PM

All it takes is patience, MJ. :) I'm sure anyone could that put their mind to it.

There's some great tutorials out there explaining how to use the camera mode to set the camera's angle and movements, the rest is just experimenting with ideas. Videos can be work, but the result is worth it. :D

I don't think I have the time for it, Kaleeko.

It's nice to see great works like this.

Jen December 11, 2010 at 4:07 PM

That's classic! And love the song, what a perfect choice! ;)

Unknown December 11, 2010 at 10:08 PM

All the credit for the song goes to PiB -- the second I heard it, the rest just sort of popped into place.

Hope it gave you some giggles! :D

My Sim + my song + Kaleeko == Magic in action.
